Short-Term Housing
We are happy to be able to offer two types of short-term housing on campus. Our short-term housing is charged on a nightly basis.
Guest Housing
Similar to a hotel, offered year-round. Private accommodation that sleeps 1-4. Hotel amenities and daily towel exchange. Please be aware of our full list of policies & procedures. Rooms are able to be booked 1 year in advance.
Room Types
- Standard Room - 1 full size bed
- ADA Room - 1 twin size bed
- Kitchenette Room - 2 full size beds and a kitchenette
- Apartment Room - 1 bedroom apartment with full size bed and pull out couch, with full kitchen

$144/night - $215/night
Summer Housing
Offered summer only. Private accommodation in converted student rooms that sleeps 1-2. Linen provided but bed is not made. Weekly towel exchange. Please be aware of our full list of policies & procedures.

- Private Twin - 1 twin XL size bed
- Private Full - 1 full XL size bed

$79/night - $149/night
Reservation Availability
Reservations for all dates will begin in our housing portal as follows:
March 16, 2026 at 10am EDT for TC students in degree programs
March 19, 2026 at 10am EDT for everyone else
Online Reservations
This system is for individual or group reservations. The room reserved will be in your name, but you can add additional guests to the room. If you need to adjust your reservation dates please email us at housing@tc.columbia.edu or call us at 212-678-3235.
Overlapping Reservations
Our system does not allow you to reserve a room for the same dates that you already have a room reserved. If you are currently in housing you will need to create a 2nd account with a different email to reserve a room.
All guests must be at least 18 years old to stay in guest or summer housing by themselves.
